Service work charge for installing additional jacks |

The Commission received an application by North Renfrew Telephone Company Limited (North Renfrew), dated 26 July 2004, to revise item 2, Multi-Element Service Charges, under section 110 of its General Tariff in order to introduce a $20 premise service work charge for installing additional jacks that would apply to residential and business customers. |

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application. |

The Commission notes that in Regulatory framework for the small incumbent telephone companies, Decision CRTC 2001-756, 14 December 2001, it determined that the rates for services of this type could increase to any already approved rate for the same service. |

The Commission further notes that the proposed rate is equal to the rate previously approved for Westport Telephone Company Limited for the same service in Telecom Order CRTC 2004-199, 18 June 2004. |

The Commission approves North Renfrew's application. The revisions take effect as of 1 October 2004. |

North Renfrew is to issue a revised tariff page forthwith to reflect this changes. |
