Bell Canada

Reference: Tariff Notices 6698 and 6698A

Reference of calls service

1.

The Commission received an application by Bell Canada, dated 31 October 2002 and amended on 22 November 2002, to revise General Tariff item 72, Reference of Calls (ROC) Service, in order to add paragraph (d) stating that where a change of a business or residential telephone number results from a customer request and the optional ROC service is not required, the customer may receive ROC service at no charge for a period of one month.

These revisions are made pursuant to the directive set out in Reference of Calls service, Telecom Order CRTC 2002-395, 4 October 2002.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

The Commission approves Bell Canada's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.
