Ottawa, 9 May 2003

Further to its Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 2003-3 dated 21 March 2003 relating to a Public Hearing which will be held on 26 May 2003 at 9:30 a.m., at the Conference Centre, Portage IV, 140 Promenade du Portage, Gatineau, Quebec, the Commission announces the following:
  CORRECTION TO ITEM #24
AT THE LICENSEE'S REQUEST THE FOLLOWING ITEM IS AMENDED AND THE CHANGES ARE IN BOLD
  Burlington, Ottawa and London, Ontario
Application No. 2002-0350-6
Application by CROSSROADS TELEVISION SYSTEM relating to television station CITS-TV.
The licensee has sought an amendment to its application whereby the Ottawa transmitter would operate on channel 32B, with an effective radiated power of 54,000 watts. The licensee had originally proposed that the Ottawa transmitter would operate on channel 14C, with an effective radiated power of 109,000 watts. The Commission has accepted this change to the application. Therefore, this application is no longer technically mutually exclusive with the application by Rogers Broadcasting Limited (2002-0641-8) to establish a rebroadcasting transmitter for OMNI.2 in Ottawa.
The Commission will only proceed with this application at the public hearing if advised by the Department of Industry, at least ten days prior to the hearing, that it is technically acceptable.
