Re: Bell Canada Tariff Notice No. 6726A - Reply Comments

By letter dated 10 October 2003, Bell Canada requested an extension of the due date for the filing of reply comments with respect to Bell Canada Tariff Notice 6726A - Amendment - Introduction of Ethernet Access.

Bell Canada stated that due to the complexity of the interventions associated with the comments filed by Xit Telecom, Allstream Corp. and Call-Net Enterprises Inc., it would be unable to respond within the customary ten-day period contemplated in the Rules of Procedure and requested a filing extension to 24 October 2003.

Commission staff agrees with Bell Canada's request and grants the extension.

A copy of Bell Canada's submission filed in accordance with the above process must be served on all other parties by the applicable filing date. Where a document is to be filed or served by a specific date, the document must actually be received, and not merely sent, by that date.
