The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with this application.
4.
The Commission notes that the above-noted transmitters are currently operated by the CBC as radiocommunication distribution undertakings (RDUs), which rebroadcast the programming of the CBC Northern Television Service.
5.
The CBC has advised that improvements in satellite feed technology now permit it to provide these communities with the full CBLT Toronto program schedule. The CBC noted that it is therefore no longer necessary to hold separate RDU licences for these transmitters, and has asked that the licences be revoked.
6.
Accordingly, the Commission, pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24 (2) of the Broadcasting Act, revokes the broadcasting licences issued to the CBC with respect to the above-noted RDUs.
