Administrative renewals

1.

The Commission renews the broadcasting licences for the undertakings in Appendix 1 and Appendix 2 of this decision, from 1 September 2003 to 29 February 2004, subject to the terms and conditions in effect under the current licences.

2.

The applications for the renewal of the licences in Appendix 1 were either considered at public hearings or published for comment in broadcasting public notices. However, the Commission will not be able to rule on these applications before the current licences expire.

3.

The applications for the renewal of the licences in Appendix 2 have not yet been published in either a Broadcasting Public Notice or a Notice of Public Hearing. Interested parties will have an opportunity to comment on the applications at the appropriate time.

4.

This decision does not dispose of any substantive issue that may exist with respect to the renewal of these licences.
