The Partnership operates the radio programming undertakings CJNB, CJCQ-FM North Battleford and CJNS Meadow Lake. |
|
As part of the transaction, 587680 will also transfer to Rawlco 1/10 of a non-voting equity unit it holds in the Partnership, and it will retain its remaining 19 9/10 non-voting equity units. |
|
An amalgamation involving one of the other two partners, 587681 Saskatchewan Ltd., will occur following the transfer of the voting units to Rawlco. This part of the transaction does not require the Commission's approval. |
|
The transaction will not result in a change of the effective control of the above undertakings, which will remain with Mr. Gordon S. Rawlinson. |
|
The applicant is also requesting licences to continue the operation of the undertakings, upon surrender of the current licences issued to 587680 Saskatchewan Ltd., Dekkerco Holdings Ltd. and 587681 Saskatchewan Ltd., holding respectively 51%, 31% and 18% of the Partnership's voting interests. |
