Extension of the time limit to file an application for a new FM frequency |

The Commission approves the request by Gary Farmer for an extension of the deadline established in Decision CRTC 2001-314 dated 5 June 2001, for the submission of an application predicated on the use of a radio frequency other than 90.9 MHz for the operation of its new Aboriginal-language station to serve Vancouver. |

2. |
The Commission hereby extends the deadline to 5 March 2002. |

3. |
The applicant's failure to meet this new deadline will cause this authority to become null and void, unless a request for a further extension of time is approved by the Commission before such date. |

4. |
The Commission notifies the applicant that this authority does not preclude the Commission's consideration of the application by Simon Fraser Campus Society, as gazetted in Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 2002-1 dated 1 February 2002, for use of the FM frequency 90.1 MHz at Burnaby. |
