Asymmetric digital subscriber line access service |
The Commission approves, on an interim basis, Bell Canada's request to reduce the rates for asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) access service in order to move the prices closer to the costs incurred for the provision of the service. |
The Commission intends to dispose of Bell Canada's request on a final basis coincident with its disposition of the Part VII application initially filed on 15 August 2001 by the independent members of the Canadian Association of Internet Providers, with respect to Bell Canada's ADSL service. |
Bell Canada filed the application on 18 October 2001 to revise item 5400 of its General Tariff. |
