Addition of a transmitter of CIMT-TV Rivière-du-Loup at Les Escoumins |

1. |
The Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for the television programming undertaking CIMT-TV Rivière-du-Loup (the originating station), by authorizing the licensee to add a transmitter at Les Escoumins. |
2. |
As proposed, the new transmitter will operate on channel 13, with a transmitting power of 10 watts. |
3. |
The authority will be effective and the licence will be amended only at such time as: |
· the licensee confirms in writing that it is ready to begin operation of the transmitter. This must take place within 12 months of today's date. Any request for an extension to that deadline requires Commission approval and must be made in writing within that period. | |
· the Department of Industry has indicated that it will issue a broadcasting certificate (section 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act). | |
