The licensee proposes to amend its licence in order to add a transmitter at Les Escoumins to offer the programming of CFTF-TV Rivière-du-Loup (an affiliate of the TQS network). |

The transmitter will operate on channel33 with a transmitterpower of 50 watts. |

The addition of the transmitter will enable the population of Les Escoumins to receive the programming of CFTF-TV. |

Application by CJRT-FM Inc.to amend the licence of CJRT-FM. |
|
The licensee proposes to broadcast predominantly Tamil-language programming, using a Subsidiary Communications Multiplex Operations (SCMO) channel. Programming broadcast using an SCMO is not accessible with standard radio equipment, and requires the use of a special receiver. |
|
If the application is approved, CJRT-FM would then be authorized to provide a second Tamil-language SCMO service. |

Applications by ACCESS COMMUNICATIONS CO-OPERATIVE LIMITED to amend the licences of its cable systems serving the above-mentioned locations. |
|
The licensee is requesting to be exempted, by condition of licence, of the requirement to implement simultaneous substitution requests in relation to the programming on U.S. superstations. |
|
Access believes that the costs associated with substituting the analogue signals of Canadian television stations for digitally distributed U.S. superstations significantly outweighs the benefit that would be obtained by the Canadian broadcasting system. |

In the event that the application is brought to the oral phase of the hearing, and if you wish to appear, you must provide reasons why your written comments are not sufficient and why an appearance is necessary. |

In exceptional circumstances, the Commission may allow an intervenor to present its intervention by teleconference. At the time of filing its intervention, the intervenor must clearly indicate why the Commission should grant such a request. |
