Subject: Implementation of price cap regulation for TELUS Québec and Télébec, Public Notice CRTC 2001-36 - Oral hearing

In a letter date 3 August 2001, it was announced that a public hearing with regards to the proceeding noted above would be held in Québec City beginning 5 November 2001.

For administrative purposes and after verifying with the designated parties of this proceeding, it has been decided to change the date of the hearing.

The public proceeding for this proceeding will be held at the Château Frontenac in Québec City beginning at 9 A.M. on 13 November 2001. The first day of the oral hearing will be reserved for comments from the general public.

As a result of the change in the date of the public hearing, it is necessary to revise certain portions of the schedule in this proceeding as follows:

  1. Persons wishing to participate during the oral portion of this proceeding will have until 19 October 2001 to register with the Commission. Refer to the Commission letter dated 3 August 2001 for further information regarding the public hearing.
  2. All parties may file arguments with the Commission on any matters within the scope of this proceeding, serving copies on all other parties by 28 November 2001.
  3. All parties may file reply argument with the Commission serving a copy on all other parties by 11 December 2001.

TELUS Québec and Télébec are reminded that the notice to subscribers via billing inserts and newspaper notices should all refer to the revised public hearing date of 13 November 2001.

Yours sincerely,
