Licence renewal for ethnic radio station CFMB |

1. |
The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for CFMB Montréal, from 1 March 2001 to 31 August 2007, subject to the conditions specified in this decision and in the licence to be issued, as also set out in Public Notice CRTC 1999-137. |

2. |
It is a condition of licence that the licensee provide programming directed to a minimum of 19 cultural groups in a minimum of 18 different languages. |
|
3. |
The Commission is satisfied with the initiatives proposed by the licensee to reflect local issues and concerns over the new licence term. |
|
4. |
The Commission encourages the licensee to consider employment equity issues in its hiring practices and in all other aspects of its management of human resources (l'avis 1992-59). |
