Rogers Broadcasting Limited
Canmore, Alberta - 200005331

Application processed by Public Notice
CRTC 2000-138 dated 29 September 2000

Increase in power for
CJMT-FM

1.

The Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for the radio programming undertaking CJMT-FM Canmore, by increasing the effective radiated power from 360 watts to 510 watts.

2.

Rogers also proposes to relocate the station's transmitter approximately 4 kilometres from its present site.

3.

The Commission authorizes the licensee to operate the undertaking on the basis of the contours and particulars resulting from the above-mentioned change.

4.

The Department of Industry has advised that this application is conditionally technically acceptable, subject to determination that there will be no unacceptable interference with NAV/COM services. When the Department has certified that a broadcasting certificate has been or will be issued, the amendment approved in this decision will be valid (section 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act).
