Licence amendment for CBNT |

1. |
The Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for the television programming undertaking CBNT St. John's (the originating station), by authorizing the licensee to add a second transmitter at St. John's, operating on channel 12, with a transmitter power of 50 watts. |
2. |
This second transmitter will provide a solution to the problem of poor reception in some areas of the downtown core. |
3. |
When the Department of Industry has certified that a broadcasting certificate has been or will be issued, the amendment approved in this decision will be valid (section 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act). |
