Increase in power for CBYT-1

1.

The Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for the television programming undertaking CBYT Corner Brook, by increasing the effective radiated power of its transmitter CBYT-1 Stephenville from 11,600 watts to 12,010 watts.

2.

The applicant indicates that, following a change in the transmitting antenna, this amendment is required to maintain the coverage area of CBYT-1 Stephenville.

3.

The Commission authorizes the licensee to operate the undertaking on the basis of the contours and particulars resulting from the above-mentioned change.
