Licence amendment to allow CKTR-FM to offer 10 hours of live broadcasting each week |

The Commission approves the application to amend the condition of licence limiting CKTR-FM North Bay to broadcasting pre-recorded messages. The amendment will allow the station to offer a maximum of 10 hours of live broadcasting each week. The new condition reads as follows: |

CKTR-FM offers a tourist information service. The licensee wishes to better serve its listeners by broadcasting live events of interest to tourists including, but not limited to, tournaments, local parades and fireworks. CKTR-FM will not offer any conventional news or sports events coverage. |
