Application (200005258) by 1311831 ONTARIO LIMITED (CKTR-FM) to amend the following condition of licence:

- that the station be used solely to broadcast pre-recorded messages relating to the tourist sites and events in and around the City of North Bay.

by adding:

- except for a maximum of 10 hours per week of live broadcasting.

The applicant indicates that the purpose of the proposed amendment is to better serve its audience by broadcasting certain live events of interest to tourists including, but not limited to, tournaments, local parades, and fireworks. Programming would not consist of conventional news coverage.

Application (200002030) by CHRISTIAN RADIO MANITOBA LTD., P.O. Box 1812, 1111 Chevrier Boulevard, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 3R1.
In Decision CRTC 2000-20 dated 19 January 2000, the Commission approved an application by this licensee for an FM radio station in Winnipeg, but noted that the proposed frequency (107.1 MHz, channel 296C1) was not approved due to interference concerns. The licensee was directed to file an application to amend the new licence, based on the use of a different frequency.
This application seeks approval for the new station to use the frequency 95.1 MHz (channel 236C1). The transmitter will operate with an effective radiated power of 100,000 watts.

3. KAMLOOPS, British Columbia
Application (200004490) by the CANADIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION. The CBC proposes to add an FM radio transmitter at Kamloops to offer the programming of CBU-FM Vancouver.
The transmitter will operate on the frequency 105.3 MHz (channel 287B1) with an effective radiated power of 4,750 watts. The addition of the transmitter will require an amendment to the licence for CBU-FM.
This application results from the CBC’s commitment to provide its Radio Two service to 75% of the English-speaking population in each province.
