Telecom Order CRTC 99-1042

 

The Commission has received an application from Bell Canada (Bell) under Tariff Notice 6392 dated 3 September 1999, for approval of revisions to General Tariff Item 70.1, waiving the $55.00 Service Connection charge for the installation of individual residence lines for customers who return to Bell from an alternate provider of local exchange services, from 5 November 1999 to 5 April 2000.

1.In Telecom Order CRTC 99-981 dated 12 October 1999, the Commission denied the ex parte filing and directed the company to provide, within two business days, a copy of the application for the public record.

 

2.The company provided a copy of the application for the public record on 15 October 1999.

 

3.In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:

 

The application is approved on an interim basis.
