Addition of Canadian signals
|
1. The Commission approvesthe application by Star Choice Television Network Incorporated (Star Choice) to amend the broadcasting licence for the national satellite relay distribution undertaking (SRDU), by adding CKAL-TV (IND) and CICT-TV (IND) Calgary, CKEM-TV (IND) Edmonton, CKVU-TV (IND) Vancouver, CJCB-TV (CTV) Sydney, CKLT-TV (CTV) Saint John and CKCW-TV (CTV) Moncton, to the list of signals that it is authorized to distribute.

2. As part of its application, Star Choice requested that CKAL-TV, CJCB-TV and CKLT-TV be added to the List of Part 3 Eligible Satellite Services.

3. In Public Notice CRTC 1999-166 of today's date entitled Revised Lists of Eligible Satellite Services, the Commission has amended the lists to reflect the approval granted herein.
