Addition of KAYU-TV (FOX)

1.  The Commission approves the applications to amend the broadcasting licences for the Class 1 and Class 2 cable distribution undertakings serving the communities noted in the appendix to this decision. The licensee is authorized, by condition of licence, to distribute, at its option, the programming service of KAYU-TV (FOX) Spokane, Washington, as part of the basic service.

2.  The licensee may receive any authorized signals over the air, or from any licensed or exempted Canadian broadcasting distribution undertaking authorized to provide signals to other broadcasting distribution undertakings. The Commission notes that the licensee will receive the above-noted signal via satellite.

3.  With respect to the Class 3 cable distribution undertaking serving 100 Mile House (199901153), the Commission notes that KAYU-TV is on the List of Part 3 Eligible Satellite Services and that therefore no specific authorization is required.
