Extension of construction deadline
|
1. Following Public Notice CRTC 1997-61 dated 16 May 1997, the Commission approves the applications by Shaw Cablesystems Ltd. to extend to 8 March 1998, the construction and implementation deadline for the authorities granted in Decisions CRTC 95-93 and 95-94 with respect to the cable distribution undertakings serving the above-mentioned localities.

2. The Commission puts the licensee on notice that should it be unable to complete construction and implement the authorities granted in Decisions CRTC 95-93 and 95-94 by 8 March 1998, the Commission may not be prepared to grant a further extension and might reassess how these communities are to be served.

This decision is to be appended to each licence.
