Decision

Ottawa, 25 March 1997
Decision CRTC 97-116
Regional Cable TV Inc.
Summerville, Long Beach, Princeton and Summerville Station, Newfoundland - 199617114
Licence amendment
Following Public Notice CRTC 1997-13 dated 3 February 1997, the Commission approves the application to amend the licence for the cable distribution undertaking serving the above-noted communities, by adding a condition of licence relieving the licensee of the requirement of paragraph 22(1)(b) of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986 to distribute the programming service of CJWB-TV Bonavista, a regional station. The licensee will distribute instead the signal of CJON-TV (CTV) St. John's, received via satellite.
This decision is to be appended to the licence.
Allan J. Darling
Secretary General
