Decision CRTC 96-726
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Windsor, Ontario - 199604533
Licence amendment for CBET
Following Public Notice CRTC 1996-119 dated 28 August 1996, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence of the television programming undertaking CBET Windsor, by decreasing the effective radiated power from 182,000 watts to 80,700 watts.
The Commission notes that the CBC is relocating the existing CBET broadcasting facility from downtown Windsor to co-site with its French-language television programming undertaking CBEFT, located near McGregor.
The CBC states that, despite this change, coverage of CBET's signal will remain essentially the same.
The Commission hereby authorizes the licensee to operate the undertaking on the basis of the contours and particulars resulting from the above-mentioned changes.
This decision is to be appended to the licence.
