Further to its Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 1995-16 dated 27 December 1995 relating to its Public Hearing to be held at the Sheraton Landmark, 1400 Robson Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, the Commission announces that:
PART OF THE FOLLOWING ITEM IS WITHDRAWN FROM THIS PUBLIC HEARING. THE PART OF THE APPLICATION DEALING WITH THE ACQUISITION OF ASSETS REMAINS ON THE AGENDA.
HOWEVER, IN LIGHT OF THE ISSUES RAISED IN INTERVENTIONS RECEIVED, THE COMMISSION HAS DETERMINED THAT IT WOULD BE MORE APPROPRIATE TO RESCHEDULE THE PARTS OF THE APPLICATION DEALING WITH TECHNICAL CHANGES (UNDERLINED) TO THE PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD ON 15 APRIL 1996 IN HULL, QUEBEC.

Application (952295400) by 3145069 CANADA INC., 410 St-Nicolas, Suite 12, Montréal, Quebec, H2Y 2P5, for authority to acquire the assets and for a broadcasting licence to continue the operation of the (radio) programming undertaking CFEI-FM Saint-Hyacinthe, upon surrender of the current licence issued to Cogéco Radio-Télévision inc.
The applicant also proposes the following technical changes:
a)  decrease the effective radiated power from 3,000 to 640 watts;
b)  relocate the transmitter from Saint-Hyacinthe to the top of Mont Rougemont; and
c) change the authorized contour.
The applicant proposes to broadcast 126 hours of local programming per broadcast week, an increase of 79 hours.
