Decision

Ottawa, 5 October 1995
Decision CRTC 95-735
Electrohome Limited
Athabasca, Alberta - 950372300
Decrease in power for CFRN-TV-12
Following Public Notice CRTC 1995-121 dated 18 July 1995, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CFRN-TV-4 Ashmont by decreasing the effective radiated power of CFRN-TV-12 from 4,000 watts to 1,800 watts.
The Commission notes that it has amended the licence for CFRN-TV-4 rather than the licence for CFRN-TV Edmonton, as had been indicated in the Public Notice, in view of its approval, in Decisions CRTC 95-639 and CRTC 95-640 dated 29 August 1995, of applications by the licensee to change the status of a number of CFRN-TV's transmitters, including CFRN-TV-4, to that of programming undertakings and to reassign most of the remaining transmitters, including CFRN-TV-12, to the new undertakings.
