Radio network licence renewal
|
Following Public Notice CRTC 1994-146 dated 2 December 1994, the Commission renews the French-language radio network licence held by Radio MF C.I.E.L. (1981) Inc., from 1 September 1995 to 31 August 1999, subject to the conditions in effect under the current licence, as well as to those conditions specified in the licence to be issued.

This term will enable the Commission to consider the renewal of this licence at the same time as that of CIEL-FM Longueuil.

This network will broadcast, between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. every day of the week, the programs of CIEL-FM Longueuil, namely music programs, sports and general information bulletins originating from the Nouvelles Télé-Radio (NTR) service and weather bulletins originating from Météomédia.

In Public Notice CRTC 1992-59 dated 1 September 1992 and entitled "Implementation of an Employment Equity Policy", the Commission announced that the employment equity practices of broadcasters would be subject to examination by the Commission. In this regard, the Commission encourages the licensee to consider employment equity issues in its hiring practices and in all other aspects of its management of human resources.
