Addition of CFJP-TV
Following Public Notice CRTC 1995-55 dated 10 April 1995, the Commission approves the application for authority to distribute, at the licensee's option, CFJP-TV (TQS) Montréal, received via satellite, as part of the basic service of the undertaking serving Kingston and surrounding areas.
The Commission is satisfied that the distribution of CFJP-TV is in line with the guidelines on the cable distribution of distant Canadian television signals first set out in Public Notice CRTC 1985-61 and reiterated in Public Notice CRTC 1993-74. It is further satisfied that the distribution of CFJP-TV will enhance the choice of French-language programming services offered to subscribers.
