CAMPUS FM RADIO LICENCE AMENDMENTS

In Public Notice CRTC 1993-38 dated 19 April 1993 and entitled "Policies for Local Programming on Commercial Radio Stations and Advertising on Campus Stations", the Commission announced that it would be prepared to amend its policy concerning the kind of advertising that campus radio stations are permitted to carry.

Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1993-85 dated 15 June 1993, the Commission approves the applications submitted by the licensees listed in the appendix to this decision, by amending their condition of licence to permit the broadcast of a maximum of 126 minutes each week of conventional advertising.
|
The Commission reminds these licensees that, of the weekly total of 504 minutes of advertising permitted by their condition of licence, a maximum of 126 minutes of conventional advertising will be permitted. The remainder of advertising broadcast must conform to the definition of restricted advertising set out in Public Notice CRTC 1993-38.
