Public Notice

Ottawa, 15 June 1993
Public Notice CRTC 1993-85
APPLICATIONS FOR AMENDMENTS CONCERNING (CAMPUS FM RADIO) PROGRAMMING UNDERTAKINGS
CRTC Public Notice 1993-38, Policies for Local Programming on Commercial Radio Stations, dated 19 April, 1993, announced a change to the Commission's policy regarding the kind of advertising campus stations are permitted to carry. Rather than imposing a condition of licence limiting all advertising to a restricted type, as defined in the conditions attached to their current licenses, the Commission has decided that a maximum of 126 of the 504 permitted minutes per week would be unrestricted. The Notice stated that such stations could apply to amend their current conditions of licence to give effect to this policy change.
Pursuant to that Notice, the following applications have been received to amend the licences to permit a maximum of 126 minutes per week of unrestricted advertising.
