Decision

Ottawa, 14 August 1990
Decision CRTC 90-715
Small Community T.V. Inc.
McLennan, Alberta - 893692400
Following a Public Hearing in Edmonton beginning on 15 May 1990, the Commission renews the licence for the broadcasting receiving undertaking serving McLennan, held by Small Community T.V. Inc., from 1 September 1990 to 31 August 1995. The operation of this undertaking is regulated pursuant to Parts I and III of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986 (the regulations) and the licence will be subject to the conditions specified in this decision and in the licence to be issued.
Consistent with Decision CRTC 87-646 dated 12 August 1987, the Commission approves the licensee's proposal to be relieved, by condition of licence, of the requirement of paragraph 22(1)(b) of the regulations to distribute regional station CBXAT-2 High Prairie, in view of the inadequate over-the-air reception quality of this signal. The licensee will continue to distribute instead the originating station, CBXAT Grande Prairie.
Alain-F. Desfossés
