Abstract: ''After being appointed in June of 2018, our Panel undertook an extensive outreach and engagement process to hear what Canadians had to say about these new realities and to gain the benefit of their insights. Panel members travelled the country, meeting with interested parties and hearing from a diverse cross section of Canadians. We wanted to hear a wide range of views on the need for legislative change, and we made a particular effort to hear from Indigenous communities and official language minority groups.''
