This report is based on two studies undertaken by D.E.M. Allen & Associates Ltd.
An analysis to determine the number of locations where additional assignments could be made using the Canadian Class 1A and 1B frequencies. This report studies protection requirements so that the additional new assignments will cause no further infringement upon existing domestic stations beyond that now existing in practice, are reduced in such a way that the Canadian Class 1 assignments are afforded protection to 500 UV/M groundwave contour, are capable of practical realization, provide satisfactory coverage both day and night, employ reasonable antenna systems, and protect all foreign assignments in accordance with NARBA. --p. 12 Bibliography of CRTC studies.
