Subject: 77997 Newfoundland and Labrador Inc. – Application regarding the implementation of third-party interconnection under Bell Canada’s aggregated wholesale FTTP access tariff – Answer - Extension Request

On 10 April 2026, the Commission received the above-mentioned Part 1 Application from 77997 Newfoundland and Labrador Inc. (77997) related to Bell Canada’s (Bell) aggregated wholesale fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) access tariff.

On 8 May 2026, Bell filed a procedural request with the Commission to extend the deadline to submit its answer from 11 May 2026 to 25 May 2026. Bell submitted that it has limited critical staff to respond and requires additional time. On 8 May 2026, 77997 confirmed that it does not oppose Bell’s request.

We consider the request for additional time reasonable and will result in a more fulsome record to assist the Commission in its assessment of the above-mentioned application.

Accordingly, the deadline for Bell to submit its answer and for interested persons to submit an intervention is extended to 25 May 2026 and 77997 will have until 4 June 2026 to submit its reply.

Sincerely,
