CKHR-FM Hay River – Revocation of licence

Hay River Broadcasting Society has requested the revocation, effective 4 December 2025, of its broadcasting licence for the English-language community radio programming undertaking CKHR-FM Hay River, Northwest Territories, which was last renewed in CKHR-FM Hay River – Licence renewal, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2023-192, 6 July 2023.
Given the licensee’s request and pursuant to paragraph 9(1)(f) and subsection 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission revokes the broadcasting licence issued to Hay River Broadcasting Society for the above-mentioned undertaking.
