Subject: Application regarding TSP’s contributions to the National Contribution Fund with respect to the Broadband Fund – Extension Request to the request for information response deadline
Dear Julia Kennedy,
We are writing in response to your procedural request letter dated 21 August 2025, for an extension to file a response to the request for information (RFI) issued on 13 August 2025.
On 13 August 2025, Commission staff issued an RFI to the Canadian Telecommunications Contribution Consortium Inc. (CCTC) and the Central Fund Administrator (CFA), with a requested response deadline by 22 August 2025. In your letter, you indicated that CCTC and the CFA have consulted on the questions raised and that you require additional time to provide a fulsome and accurate response.
Staff considers that the extension request by one week is a relatively short extension and will not prejudice any parties to this proceeding.
In light of the above, staff extends the RFI deadline for the CCTC and CFA to 29 August 2025. Consequently, the deadline by which interested persons and parties may submit interventions on the responses to the RFI, copying those on the distribution list, is extended to 5 September 2025. The deadline by which the applicant may submit its reply to the new interventions is extended to 9 September 2025.
