Subject: Bell Canada Part 1 Application Regarding Rogers’ Inappropriate Application of its End-User Specification Change Charge – Reply Deadline Extension Request
Dear Philippe Gauvin and Howard Slawner:
In a letter dated 20 August 2025, Bell Canada (Bell) requested that the deadline for it to file its reply comments (Reply) with the Commission associated with the above-referenced Part 1 application (the Application) be extended from 25 August 2025 to 4 September 2025. Bell stated that due to staff vacations and illnesses it would not be able to meet the existing filing deadline date. Bell stated that as it is the primary beneficiary of the Application, it does not believe that any party would be harmed by such a small extension.
Commission staff considers that the length of Bell’s requested extension is reasonable under the circumstances. Moreover, Commission staff is of the view that granting Bell’s extension request would be in the public interest, as it would benefit the proceeding by enabling the Commission to gain a more fulsome record.
Therefore, the deadline for Bell to file its reply comments with the Commission is extended to 4 September 2025.
A copy of this letter will be added to the public record of the proceeding.
Sincerely,
Original signed by
