Subject: Part 1 Application (2025-0123-8) by The News Forum Inc. alleging undue preference/disadvantage against Rogers Communications Canada Inc. – Withdrawal of Part 1 Application

Dear Dean Shaikh and Tore Stautland:

I am writing with respect to the 29 September 2025 letter filed jointly by The News Forum Inc. (TNFI) and Rogers Communications Canada Inc. (Rogers), in which TNFI withdraws its Part 1 application (2025-0123-8) alleging undue preference against Rogers.

This letter confirms Commission staff’s understanding that the matters raised in the Part 1 application are now resolved. Given that the parties have reached an agreement as indicated by the 29 September 2025 letter, a decision on the application is no longer required.

In light of the above, the correspondence from TNFI and Rogers and a copy of this letter will be added to the record of the file and the file closed.

Sincerely,

(Original signed by)
