Subject: Application 2024-0604-0—Part 1 Application—Follow-up

Paul Cowling,

We thank you for your letter dated 4 August 2025 regarding your request seeking to prohibit Quebecor Media Inc. and Leclerc Communication Inc. from broadcasting QUB Radio content on 99.5 FM.

As you know, as an independent quasi-judicial tribunal, the Commission makes decisions based on the public record. In general, in the case of a Part 1 application, the process of establishing a public record involves the receipt of responses from the concerned parties to requests for information from the Commission, where applicable, as well as the receipt of interventions and replies from interested people. The process can also include the assessment of procedural and confidentiality requests. These procedural steps are intended to create a public record as complete as possible, on which the Commission will base its decision. Once all these procedural steps have been completed, the Commission conducts a thorough analysis of the record.

We confirm that the analysis of the application in question has been completed and that the Commission will issue a decision in the coming weeks.

Yours sincerely,

(Original signed by)
