Subject: Part 1 Applications Filed Pursuant to Section 9 of the Broadcasting Distribution Regulations – Bell Media Inc. (Bell) and Rogers Communications Canada Inc. (Rogers) – Withdrawal of Part 1 Applications

Dear Jonathan Daniels and Dean Shaikh:

I am writing with respect to the 29 July 2025 letter Bell filed with the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (the Commission), in which it asked the Commission for the withdrawal of its two Part 1 applications against Rogers, namely application numbers 2024-0642-0 and 2025-0066-0.

This letter confirms Commission staff’s understanding that the disputes regarding the two Part 1 applications are now resolved. Given that the parties have reached an agreement as indicated by Bell in its letter, the standstill is also no longer required.

In light of the above, Bell’s correspondence and a copy of this letter will be added to the record of those files and the files closed.
