Subject: Staff Letter - Broadcasting - Part 1 Application (2025-0123-8) by The News Forum Inc. alleging undue preference/disadvantage against Rogers Communications Inc.
The Commission has received a procedural request, dated 29 April 2025, from Rogers Communications Inc. (Rogers) in the above-noted Part 1 proceeding, seeking to file additional information to address a new issue raised by The News Forum Inc. (The News Forum) in its reply dated 24 April 2025.
Commission staff notes that the record of the proceeding closed on 24 April 2025 in accordance with the CRTC Rules of Practice and Procedure. Nonetheless, Commission staff accepts the additional correspondence filed by Rogers since it contains information that may help clarify certain issues and contribute to a more fulsome record.
The News Forum may submit a response strictly limited to replying to the contents of Rogers’ 29 April 2025 letter no later than 6 May 2025, serving a copy to Rogers by that date. The latest correspondence filed by Rogers and any response submitted by The New Forum will be added to the public record of this proceeding.
