Subject: Application to Review & Vary Telecom Decision CRTC 2022-311

Dear Mr. Contzen,

I am writing regarding the request filed on behalf of British Columbia’s Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOTI) that the Commission review and vary Telecom Decision 2022-311 and, specifically, the directives to MOTI (the Directives) that it contained.

On 5 June 2024, I sent you a letter indicating that, with the publication of Telecom Order CRTC 2024-122, TELUS Communications Inc. – Tariff Notice 576 – Amendment to Support Structure Service, the Directives were no longer in effect and therefore MOTI’s request to rescind the Directives was moot.

In this letter, I asked you to confirm whether you still wished to have the Commission consider your application. As no response was received, Commission staff will now consider this file closed. Should you want the Commission to consider the questions in your application or any other issue, you are welcome to file a new application.

Yours sincerely,
