Subject: Tariff Notice 7697 – Flex Bundles and Home Phone Complete Package

On June 24, 2024, the Commission received a request from Bell Canada, Limited Partnership (Bell Canada), proposing to withdraw the optional PhoneCare maintenance plans from its Flex Bundles and Home Phone Complete Package.

Bell Canada also requested an exception to the standard deadlines set out in Approval process for tariff applications and intercarrier agreements, Telecom Information Bulletin CRTC 2010-455-1, 16 February 2016, so that customers could have until 19 August 2024, to submit their comments to the Commission, as the company would be sending notification letters to customers on 3 July 2024.

Commission staff considers that, given that customer notices would be sent out on 3 July 2024, the proposed deadlines are acceptable. Consequently, customers will have until 19 August 2024, to submit comments on Bell Canada's proposal. Bell Canada is to file reply comments by 29 August 2024.

Sincerely,
