Subject: Request for Information - Telecom – Renewal of National Contribution Fund Administrator
Dear Julia Kennedy:
On 15 December 2013, the Canadian Telecommunications Contribution Consortium Inc. (CTCC) filed a Part 1 application requesting the Commission’s approval to renew the National Contribution Fund Administrator contract for a three-year term.
To provide a complete record relating to the Part 1 application, please submit the following documents on the record of this application:
- Copy of most recent and in effect CFA agreement;
- Amending agreement outlined in Attachment A of the application;
- Acknowledgement and consent outlined in Attachment B of the application; and
- If not covered in the above, filing any documents outlining the tasks required to be performed by the Fund administrator as well as the amounts being paid to the Fund administrator.
As set out in section 39 of the Telecommunications Act and in Broadcasting and Telecom Information Bulletin CRTC 2010-961, Procedures for filing confidential information and requesting its disclosure in Commission proceedings, persons may designate certain information as confidential. A person designating information as confidential must provide a detailed explanation on why the relevant information qualifies for designation as confidential and why its disclosure would not be in the public interest, including why the specific direct harm that would be likely to result from the disclosure would outweigh the public interest in disclosure.
Furthermore, a person designating information as confidential must either file an abridged version of the document omitting only the information designated as confidential or provide reasons why an abridged version cannot be filed.
Finally, please respond to this request by 1 February 2024.
