RE: Call for comments – Framework under the Online News Act (formerly Bill C-18), Online News Notice of Consultation CRTC 2024-55 – Intervention by the Canadian Magazine Coalition and new deadline for reply
On 12 April 2024, the CRTC received an intervention from the Canadian Magazine Coalition with respect to the above-noted proceeding.
The intervention was received by traditional mail within the intervention period set out in the notice but an electronic copy of the intervention was inadvertently not added to the public record.
The intervention has now been added to the public record on the CRTC’s website.
Parties to the proceeding may file a reply that is limited to addressing the Canadian Magazine Coalition’s intervention by no later than 7 June 2024. Replies received by that time will also be added to the public record on the CRTC’s website and be considered as part of the decision-making process.
