MTV2 – Revocation of licence

1. Bell Media Inc. has requested the revocation, effective 29 March 2024, of its broadcasting licence for the English-language discretionary service MTV2, originally granted in Connect - a new specialty channel, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2000-462, 14 December 2000.
2. Given the licensee’s request and pursuant to paragraph 9(1)(f) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission revokes the broadcasting licence issued to Bell Media Inc. for the above-mentioned undertaking.
