OWN – Revocation of licence

1. OWN Inc., a subsidiary of Corus Entertainment Inc., has requested the revocation, effective 1 September 2024 of its broadcasting licence for the English-language discretionary service OWN, originally granted under the name Canadian Learning Television (CLT) in Canadian Learning Television – Approved, Decision CRTC 96-600, 4 September 1996.
2. Given the licensee’s request and pursuant to paragraph 9(1)(f) and subsection 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission revokes the broadcasting licence issued to OWN Inc. for the above-mentioned undertaking.
