Decision of the Broadcasting Arbitrator

1. On 8 July 2024, the Broadcasting Arbitrator released an order with respect to the 2024 Allocation of Paid Time. This order, made pursuant to sections 335, 338 and 343 and subsection 337(3) of the Canada Elections Act (the Act), replaces the 4 October 2023 Allocation of Paid Time.
2. The Commission is required, pursuant to subsection 342(1) of the Act, to notify broadcasters and network operators of such allocations.
3. The order of the Broadcasting Arbitrator can be found on the Commission’s website or is available from the Commission upon request.
