RE: Web posting of the transcripts of Interventions received in ASL and LSQ – CRTC 2023-39-1
In Telecom Notice of Consultations 2023-39-1, the Commission modified the procedure of the consultation to facilitate participation by Canadians who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, and to enable the submission of interventions in American Sign Language (ASL) and Langue des signes québécoise (LSQ) in video format by 3 October 2023.
In addition, the procedure was amended to allow for the submission of reply comments by all parties to the ASL and LSQ video interventions submitted, within 10 days from the date of posting the transcripts of video interventions on the Commission’s website. Reply comments may only address the interventions filed in ASL and LSQ and only those matters raised that are within the scope of this proceeding as outlined in paragraph 24 of Telecom Notice of Consultation 2023-39.
This letter is to inform all interveners that the transcripts of the ASL and LSQ video interventions received from Deaf Wireless Canada Consultative Committee and DHH Coalition have been posted on the Commission’s website. All parties may file replies to the ASL and LSQ video interventions with the Commission by 1 December 2023.
