RE: Rogers Communication Canada Inc. - Application concerning Bell Canada Billed Number Screening Database Services Charged to Wireless Service Providers and Wireless Competitive Local Exchange Carriers
On 2 July 2019, Rogers Communications Canada Inc. (RCCI) filed a Part 1 Application concerning Bell Canada’s Billed Number Screening Database Services Charged to Wireless Service Providers and Wireless Competitive Local Exchange Carriers.
Given the amount of time elapsed since the record closed and the release of the 2023 Policy Direction, Order Issuing a Direction to the CRTC on a Renewed Approach to Telecommunications Policy (the 2023 Policy Direction), staff considers that the record of the proceeding should be reopened and updated.
Therefore, RCCI is invited to submit an updated Application, including comments on whether it is consistent with the 2023 Policy Direction, no later than 20 November 2023 and serve it to all those it has served its original application. All interested persons, i.e. those that are not currently a party to the proceeding but that would like to file an intervention, and parties to the proceeding, may file new or revised interventions no later than 30 November 2023.
